2 Auto Fighter Runescape Map
Posted By admin On 08.10.19Since my earliest days of playing RuneScape I've found one common thread that people enjoy about the game: the social aspect. Now, I've never considered joining a clan because I have a few good good friends that play. But since I've joined twitter (Follow me at (forgive the tiny plug please)), I've come across some very interesting people. One person in particular goes by the handle who's becoming a RS celebrity in his own right. The more I meet the people from his clan, the more I like it. I've had yet to visit their clan, but on twitter, their shared jokes, pokes at each other, and general playfulness come out strongly. @ChaoticOwnage seems to be the natural leader that holds this group especially tight.
How to achieve 85 mining in Runescape through powermining and drop mining. West Varrock Mine - 2 Iron Ores; East Varrock Mine - 4 Iron Ores. The three rocks in. Wear what I mentioned previously in the 'What to Wear While Powermining' segment and follow this map through the Kharidian Desert.
Don't get me wrong, it seems they'd be tight no matter what, and everyone is completely awesome in their own right, but @ChaoticOwnage seems to really bind this group of people together. That said, the clan's information is below: Profile: Clan Name: Snackaholics Clan Leader RSN: RealChaotic Chat - Yes Social Activities - Yes Citidel - No PVM - Yes PvP - QFC: 290-291-47 I've been fortunate enough to get an interview with @Chaotic: Me: What do you prefer being called? Chaotic: There's just one chaotic out there;D I don't mind being called by my gamer screen name, neither do I mind being called by my real name, YY. Me: Who are the founders of the clan? Chaotic: I founded this clan along with my two very good friends, Saffeh and Gareth.
Me: How long has your clan been in existence? Chaotic: I believe this clan was started in October, so we've been around for half a year now. Me: How old is your newest clan member? Chaotic: Just a day old;D Beavertales was invited yesterday to join the clan. Me: How do you choose events? Is there a schedule? Chaotic: As much as we love RS, we all have our busy lives, college, jobs, school etc, and so we don't have a schedule that we run by, and it also explains why we don't maintain a citadel as well.
However, sometimes we all agree on a certain day where we would like to run an event, lets say corporeal beast or DG, and as many of us try to make it as possible. Normally it's a weekend where we all have some spare time. Me: What does your clan focus on mostly? Chaotic: Being a small clan, I think what we focus on his building up relationships with each other. Many of us met each other on twitter, and not on RS itself, so how we've grown is more through friendship as opposed to time spent in the clan.
As such, we focus on having a good time, whilst enjoying each other's presence where and when. Me: How many members do you have? Chaotic: At the moment we have about 16 members. Me: Do you have any sister clans?
Chaotic: No we do not. We have many friends in other clans, but we tend not to get involved with any clan rivalries or clan alliances. Me: Name some instances when you've helped one another out. Chaotic: When either of us have an issue, we support each other emotionally and are always there for each other, to give advice and to talk if needed. There hasn't been any major incidents, but where the emotional side of people are concerned, we try our best to be pillars of support for each other, through both the good times and bad. As for myself, many of these dear friends have held me strong through all the times of stress! Me: What do you like most about your clan that sets you apart?
Chaotic: Personally, what I like most is the close knittedness we have, and the bond we share. I think every member is willing to go to great lengths for each other, both in game and in our personal lives too. We don't have the fuss of dealing with things people do not enjoy, for example, the citadel, which is a cause for anguish as many do not have the time to do so, and can't afford to give up free time where they could be having fun in order to do it. Thus, I would say, what differentiates us from other clans is that very special bond every single one of us holds. Me: Thank you Chaotic for the interview! We here at RuneScapeFanAddict wish the very best for you and your awesome clan!
Chaotic: A very big thank you from me to you, for this amazing opportunity to interact with such a fantastic person, and to be featured on the blog, as it is a real honor! Both a thanks from me and on behalf of my clan;D. First of all I'd like to congratulate the RS Community on bringing the 07 servers back. This post is just a little (possibly balanced) view on the differences between the two servers: Evolution of Combat (EoC) and Oldschool (07Scape). We'll look into the controls and gameplay, the benefits and draw backs, the future of each, and the current problems with each First and foremost if you're used to EoC, you'll notice the 07Scape server is missing a few great improvements since the game began: clan chat, guest chat, and that ilk are missing clan extras are gone Fixed screen only, no full screen you don't have the quick buttons on the top of the mini map.
compass. hp. prayer. energy/run. summon I love being able to click on the compass and bring everything to true north again, it's one of the simple pleasures in life. In 07Scape, I kept clicking on it and it was as if it were trolling me.
Evil evil thing. I don't use the pre-chosen prayers as much as I'd like, especially since EoC, but for those who use it religiously, and know how to use prayer efficiently, they'll miss that greatly The energy/run. I really really really miss that especially starting over.
Now it's a huge deal with 1 agility Summoning - RuneScape made this button the best. It's so efficient. I love it There are a ton of other things missing in the 07Scape server that I had seen in the RS Forums, but can't find them atm. I'm sure you can see that RuneScape has made a ton of improvements, the more you play 07Scape, then return to EoC, the more you'll realize. Starting over in RuneScape.
I just couldn't do it. I know a lot of you out there quit RS because of the huge changes and the huge fails along the way, and RuneScape has made quite a few, I'll agree. I'm glad this new/old server appeals to you, and I know some of you are just visiting and loving the nostalgia, but for a lot of you, it's just nostalgia. For everyone's sake, I hope this doesn't go the way of RS Classic (RSC). (Side note RSC is the original RuneScape with 2d graphics, extremely clunky controls, goofy looking graphics and very very very few but dedicated people in the worlds currently today. Sound similar? See where I'm going with this?
Thought so.) Some people believe the game was ruined with EoC, but I beg to differ. It's been a combination of things. People expected the old things to be the same prices, the game play to stay the same, everything to be exactly the way it was with bigger, better, badder bosses. With the invent of newer bosses came the need for greater equipment, prayers, potions, and items that helped. RuneScape floundered along the way. I overheard a discussion in RuneScape this week about it not being EoC that started ruining everything, but it started with God Wars Dungeon (GWD). I'm not so sure.
While some people crave things, others crave different things. This game has always had a mix of older players and young players. Each thing appealed to different people. Imo, I think it might have started with instant gratification. People wanting 99's faster and RS gave in to this. RS gave in to instant gratification.
Yes, it's true. Granted, this is a game about grinding. But moreso it's a game about pride. Sure, some show it by their 99's, or Hi scores, or their clan. But doing it, getting there, if it's instant, it doesn't bring value at all. Thus came the fall.
It might had been the 2xp weekends, or GWD, or EoC, or any number of things combined. Because of 07Scape, people have been panic selling.
Prices in EoC servers have been dropping bad. People are speculating that this will stay this way because of people hating EoC so much, but it's not EoC. EoC is the culmination of all the changes. People now have a name behind the changes they can dub as evil and can therefore point their hate at that direction.
The future of 07Scape. There is no future for it. No more quests, no more updates, no more anything. It is what it is. Granted, this might change, but I doubt it. There'll be a small team for it, but that's it. People went back to it for a reason.
The future of EoC is limitless. RS is working on fixing some things they knew they broke. Food, armour, skills, also, RS is coming out with more skills. I'm sure this'll be a different post, but the maxers won't like this. The long and short of it is, 07Scape is limited, EoC is still new, unexplored, and exciting.
EoC will be fixed or JaGex will slowly go downhill. Prices will rise again, gameplay will be better than ever. I've heard so many things about the new things coming from EoC players and even the true blue 07Scapers. Loving the new quest that's to be coming out soon (I'm one of the ones geeking out about this btw) That's my 2 cents. Wow, since the Desert tasks have come out I've been spending most of my time in the Dominion tower.
It's been a great ride. I'm up to 350 kills. I've done most of the Achievements for the Desert area excluding the Dominion Tower tasks. A few things I'm was stuck on, and had seen others stuck on are 1. Kookookachat - Talk to Khoochak about a quest (easy), 2. Ug Thankee Kindly - Make an Ugthanki kebab from raw ingredients in Nardah (hard), 3. Say it, Don't Spray It - Hear one of Ali the camel's poem's using a fully featured cramulet (hard), 4.
A, B, Chitara - Play the Holy Cithara while standing in the Citharede Abbey (elite), 5 Staff of Stryke - Kill a Desert strykewyrm wearing a fully charged slayer helmet and wielding an ancient staff (elite), and finally 6. Ankle Support - Wear the ankh and Scabaras mask while in the desert (elite). Here's some things I found in order to finish that may be of help to you: 1. Kookookachat - I couldn't find Khoochak at all. I finally found him inside the Al Kharid palace in the main room. Ug Thankee Kindly -.NOTE - MAKE SURE YOU USE THE ONION ON THE BOWL FIRST AND NOT THE TOMATO. 3ds max 2009 vray 64 bit free download.
Okay, that being said you need the following materials: onion, tomato, bowl, knife (if you don't have one on your toolbelt), ugthanki meat (raw), pot of flower, jug or bucket of water. Take all materials to Nardah (if you have the medium necklace you can teleport there easy by right clicking on it and teleport). Use the onion on the bowl, then right click the tomato and use that on the bowl, then cook the ugthanki meat on the clay oven in Nardah, right click the ugthanki meat and use it on the bowl, use the water on the flour and make pitta dough, use the dough on the clay oven, use the pitta bread on the bowl and voila! Say it, Don't Spray it - Some people were having a hard time getting this task done.
First off, you need a FULL Cramulet - Ghostspeak ammy, Camulet, Monkeyspeak ammy, and the Catspeak ammy all combined into that Cramulet. The first time you speak to Ali the Camel (He's right next to the bank) insult him. After you stop him from reciting his poem, talk to him again and listen to one of his poems (I chose the second poem, I'm sure it'll work with the first poem too) 4. A, B, Chitara - THIS.
In order to get the Cithara, you'll need to NOT be on curses, you'll need to me in the NORMAL mage book, you'll need the cramulet if you haven't gotten the Mortayna legs 3 or higher. In addition, you'll need 6 or more Saradomin equipment. I used the Citharede top, bottom, hood, symbol, as well as the Illuminated book, and a Saradomin Arrow.
I'm not too sure if the arrow works, but the Wiki says it does. Staff of Stryke - This one wasn't too bad.
For the longest time I could never figure out how to charge the slayer helm. It's super easy, you can take a combat type summon scroll like 'Howl', Dreadfowl Strike', etc. Once you have this in the full slayer helmet (this includes the Focus sight and Hexcrest), take an Ancient staff (either yours or borrowed) and investigate mound over at the Desert Strykewyrms.
Their weakness is stab, so be prepared for a long haul when fighting with Ancient staff. I've been trying to figure out if the Ancient staff has a stab bonus, but all I see is magic. Ankle Support - This wasn't hard to do, it was just a pain to remember. You'll need to go to two separate places in order to get the ankh and the Scabaras mask.
The Ankh is at the Monkey Colony pictured below. You'll see on the cliff a crack or crevace on the side of the cliff. You may need to rotate your camera in order to see it.
I've been following my own advice which has gone well. I've also been trying to level up according to materials, working on things that require bamboo or lower, slate or lower.
I'm finding it's not as easy as I once thought. I've upgraded most things to slate and lower. Next up is cherrywood. I've also created a calculator for ports/ships to show what's been done as far as ports/ships, how much material has been used, and what's needed for further levels. Okay, the total objective is to get a safe voyage and collect resources.
The game engine is geared towards this. Everything from crew members to buildings to captains to ship upgrades is designed to get your ship to be able to accomplish the mission completely and safely with as much resources as possible. Buildings: Buildings will do one of two things: 1) attract better crews/captains (which allow for safer voyages and more booty) 2) allow for better booty.
The more you upgrade, the better chances you have for successful voyages and greater rewards Crew: The crew you have can be used for certain missions. Some missions require morale, some require combat, some require seafaring, and some require a combination of two or three. Some crew members have special abilities that help out with voyages You can 'purchase' 15 crew members daily. The better the bar is, the better stats the crew members come with. There is a color coding system too for each crew member. Red is combat, blue is seafaring, and green is morale.
After completing voyages, your crew members have a chance of leveling up their stats 10 percent (or more, I'm not positive yet) Ships: Again, your mission, or voyage, depends much on anywhere from one to three factors: Morale, Combat, and Seafaring. When you have crew members, ship add-ons, and captains, your stats will change with each change you make. For example, if you have a voyage with 4000 morale required, your ship will have x amount of morale points, the crew you have will have x each, and the captain will have x as well.
You can see each option when you click shipyard. There will be Rams/Figurehead, Deck 1, Deck 2, Rudders, and Hull Each of those will have different stats you can purchase from material you've collected through voyages. Changing those will increase or decrease different stats, depending on what you've purchased. Meg: Talk to her whenever she's back from her adventures, it's well worth it, trust me. Visitors: You will get new visitors daily. There's a guy you can buy materials from, do it, it's worth it.
You will get two other visitors daily that are required for special voyages. Since you have 90 in all the required levels for the port you will have the chance of unlocking all 6 visitors. These will open those special voyages I mentioned. When you do special voyages (there's a tab with the special voyages in the voyages menu), you can receive extra items and better chances of special items. Voyages: Each and every day you get a set amount of voyages including the special voyages if you've unlocked the visitors.
My suggestion is to do the easy voyages first. This will allow you to buy upgrades to make the harder voyages easier. Try to get at least a 90% chance of success (some days you will get only 60%). This will be difficult in the beginning since you have limited resources and lower tier crew members. At times you may have to chose between upgrading crew members and upgrading the ship, use your discretion.
Also, if you don't succeed in your voyage, you might lose a crew member. I think this is all, if you have any questions, post a comment anytime. I've been playing RuneScape's new Evolution of Combat for a while. I've found it super useful in Dungeoneering as well as the Dominion Tower.
It's pretty handy. I can see why RuneScape deemed it necessary to remove the specials. I still like the old ones better since they're remisciant of the old RuneScape. I think there should be a special 'button' you can add to the EoC bar. I'd love to see the magic special attack from the Korasi sword come back, as well as the Saradomin Sword.
So what do you think? Do you think RS has ruined combat? I've heard a lot of pures have left.
Tell us what you think! So I thought botting, macroing, etc. Might be dead.
I thought wrong. I went into the Taverly resource dungeon thinking I can get a ton of dragon bones and camp without worry. Tons of bots there. For every 1 dragon, there were 3 bots.
And not just on the world I was on, but on the other worlds as well. I guess RuneScape is working on it.
I know though, it'll be fixed for a short while when 1. EOC (Evolution of Combat) comes out, and 2.
When RuneScape ditches the Java client and goes on to HTML 5. For a very short time. I've been playing RuneScape a bit less. I've been down to about 30 minutes a day, if that. But I've been able to see the move RuneScape has made towards bots.
I'm not too sure about bots being gone forever. That is, until RuneScape moves over to HTML5. And seeing some of the screenshots, it's not a bad move. Granted, there will still be bots made. But it'll be a catch up game for the bot makers. I've been on RS in the mornings and have seen a few of the bots 'on trial'. But that's like.
1 a week perhaps. I've been quite busy on rs even though I haven't been able to play much. I'll post some screenshots of the trials as well as my current stats soon. Maybe I'll post some hacks and cheats too;-).
Just did the H'Ween event in RuneScape. It was pretty easy, it took me all of about 15 minutes (with interruptions of course). If you ever decide you need quest help or even 'event' help in RuneScape, I'd go with the RuneScape Wiki site.
And for on those days that you can't wait a day (or even a week for Sal's or Tip.it) you can register for the RuneScape Wiki site and you can see it before it's 'officially' released to the general public. Usually everything is released about 2 hours (although it is updated quickly and often) within the release of the quest. Here's the link. I've enjoyed RuneScape for a long time. It's been a wonderful game. But playing has been a bit dull.
I've decided I'm bored of RuneScape. I might give away some accounts I have. Use them for whatever you want, if you want. I'm still not positive what I'm doing with them but. I'm positive I'm going to give them away. I've started getting into some hacking programs. They're pretty neat.
(Don't tell RuneScape please). I figured I'd share with you guys in case you're feeling the same way. If you don't like the dark underside of RuneScape, don't comment. This post isn't here for you to judge with. On that note, we have an additional member of the writing team.
I've just invited him tonight. So we'll see if/when he joins! Hi I'm not really new, but this will be my first post. First of all welcome.
Im going to in a seris of post help oother learn some trick I've found usful. First: a little about me.
I was a huge Quester then the game ran out of Quest for me to do. Its a bit sad I know. Now I'm a heavy Skiller for all things non combat. Lol i'm not much at all for combat, dont let my combat lvl diceave you.
Although I kill Imps when ever I see them. I have only one lvl 99 rite now but im working on others. The skill is fletching the secound easyest to get back before the GE. I am now trying to breack nto merchanting. I found a site that has a seris of video teaching a bit on using the GE. The videos are hugly benificail. Theres also a guide you could buy.
I encourage everyone to watch the movies even if they do not wish to spend any money they do help. Also has anyone Read the new book?
Here are my current stats: And yes, I did mention a new scam. Someone asked if I wanted an account that they weren't using. The told me to send a password so he can change the password on the account.
Runescape 2 Download
I immediately saw where this was going. How this works: They ask for a password for the account that they are supposedly going to give you, then they also ask for your username for your main account so you can be added to be a clan member (or whatever lame excuse they give you) then they hope that the password they give you is the same one for your current or main account and when they get this information, they're in. So be careful out there RuneScape FanAddicts. It's a ugly world out there, and there's always someone out to get your password. What's the benefit of a RuneScape Community?
What type of person goes there? What do you do there? In the past, I've posted links to and how you had a chance to sign up to win a Santa Hat and 1M GP.
Since then I've come to know the people on the forum and have developed a kinship with some of them. So what are some of the benefits? Buying and selling is one of the greatest benefits. Getting help with your computer is another.
Developing a sense of community is yet another benefit. Wonderful contests (like I mentioned above). I could go on. What type of person goes there? Almost any kind.
Male, female, younger, older (that would be me) all types. What do you do there? Some of the things I've mentioned above and more. Have fun and enjoy!
Well, what've you been up to? Nothing but crafting. It's been a pain getting it up there. What i've been doing is staying in the crafting guild the whole time.
Mining clay, taking my three jugs of water, and going to the sink, filling the jugs and making the soft clay. Then after all the clay is soft clay, going to the pottery spinner, making unfried bowls. After that, I fry them. I've gotten up to level 60 crafting this way. My ultimate goal is to get up to 70. But it's taking forever.
Anyone want to give me uncuts? In order to get the brand spanking new Reindeer Hat, just follow the instructions: Make sure you take 60 GP and head to Port Sarim. Pay the fair to one of the guys in blue. Head west (you can follow the road to the dock you need to go to) After talking to Shanty Claws, Head south till you start seeing a white area in your mini-map. You should see some white clumps.
Click these and you start gathering snowballs. I'd get at least 50. I started out with 40 or so and ran out (I kept missing the Gublinch). Climb down the entrance (you should see the area to climb down near where you got the snowballs in your mini map.
It's the exclamation icon. Make sure you equip the snowballs before you try to start pelting the Gublinch.
Pick up 10 of the Gubinch Shards. This one was an action shot. This was just because. Here are the children you are trying to save. Take the shards and put them in the cages.
1 shard per cage. Here's one in a cage.
You have the Reindeer Hat! And here's how to do the dance. And you're dancing!
If you want the tree, you have to be a member.:-(. Talking about bots and maros in general, Anonymous said. Any one using an autominer will be banned, when a person is suspected of autoing in any form and someone reports them they are automatically sent to the auto detection unit, there is no human input from this it is a program that will monitor your character and gather evidence, when enough evidence is gathered it will ban you, the evidence from this is conclusive and no appeal is possible. The adu does not look for autoers it will only respond to reports from players, however all player mods are aware of the adu and will report anyone acting suspiciously all wanabe mods will also report anyone beating them to the rock or tree or whatever.
You may also lose your account as many auto programs have keyloggers. I completely disagree. I do not believe there is an ADU (Auto Detection Unit). I think RuneScape monitors in a totally different way. Not even mods are allowed to report someone that is a suspected macroer. Mods may only report someone that has been admittedly macroing or autoing. While it is true that you may lose your account to a keylogger or trojan, you most likely will not get banned.
Remeber that throw away account? I can still log on to it. I know at least two people that have bought RuneScape gold.
One bought 1m in gold for around $15 and another I know bought around 4m gold. Not sure how much, but they did. I don't blame them.
But I would never do it either. I've made a total of around 3.5m total (probably that and more not counting my losses). That's not bad for a f2p.
But I digress. Those two have never been caught. They have both been active as well. RuneScape acts as though if you buy the gold, you WILL be banned. That's not necessarily so.
I think that if RuneScape wanted to stop people buying and selling gold in real life, they'd ban the macroers as well as those whom they sell to. Those things are everywhere. I'm not kidding. I'm sure you've seen them. Cutting Yews, fishing lobbies and swordies, in the mining guild and crafting guild. It's irritating to see them knowing RuneScape might ban some of you (a very small amount of you) and let these autoers go free.
I wonder what those people do with their accounts once their done with them. This is a banner night for my Runescape guiding so I have decided to go all-out and just make this mage leveling guide. This is a guide to 55 mage, after that just high alch yew longs or steel platebodies.First thing you should do is quests for your mage level that are easy until you can curse (Level 17-19 mage?) -Buy an earth staff, and a TON of water runes and any others necessary.
Do not buy earth runes as they are extremely expensive when used 3x per spell.Wear your best armor possible, rune is best, and go into the Stronghold of Security in Barbarian Village. Stay on the first floor where the enemies are weak and harmless.Equip your armor, staff and start cursing every goblin and minotaur in sight! Wearing this bulky rune armor means you miss alot but still gain the 29xp per cast allowing you to curse the same enemy lots of times! -This should get you hundreds (if not thousands) of exp per minutes depending on how much of a frenzy you are in. Good luck, and get those cheap mage spells we all hate in the wildy. This is probably going to be the best guide to leveling prayer if you follow it exactly as I say, so listen closely.
There is a spot in the Wilderness level 27ish above Varrock with a few Big Bones respawns and many regular bones spawns. So why, Derek, would I go bury bones in the wilderness and lose my rune plate? Well, there are a few rules to follow when burying these bones. Only bring 1 item, 3 if you are very carefull not to skull yourself by pking.
There are 3 big bones (bbones) respawns on the west side that make a very fast and efficient triangle you can run through over and over. This creates an infinite number of big bones as by the time you have collected one big bone, the others have respawned. These are the rules, adjust them as you see fit! I have been pked here by a few annoying 'Scapers, so be warned! However I also leveled my prayer from 31 to 43 in 2 days at this spot, and the skeletons aren't aggresive for more than 5-10 minutes.
Have fun, and get those protects! They don't make you a noob, and actually I've found that the people accusing me of being a 'pray noob' are the same ones that I pk easiest! Hey everybody! A hello to you all on this Runescape blog. A little bit about myself and Runescape first, and my long and unfortunate past with it. I started playing Runescape wayy before the year 2000 and before it was known as 'Classic', probably near the same time Mewoko started. I was an on-and-off Scaper, and over the years I gathered a few party hats before I realized they would be off any value.
I lost all the phats I ever earned by forgetting my passwords and letting my accounts go inactive. Yes I know it's a huge waste and now I wish that I had been more dedicated. My most recent account was created late August, and his combat is currently 77 and I'm training attack for my Abyssal Whip, much more on that later as well as the eternal whip vs. Dharok's axe question. And no, I don't powerlevel I've earned all my stats. As I always worry about being banned, my character is a mainly pk build (player killer) so many of my non-combat stats are not ranked.
Look me up on the highscores sometime if you like, name Darzalune. Hope to see you all online soon! PM me if ya have any questions! Yet another writer for you to listen to.waves.
I have my own blog, but it's for a different game. Feel free to look at it if you'd like. And I'll answer any questions you have about it.about Runescape too, of course. I first started playing Runescape in 1998, before sounds, before the ability to make different types of attacks, back when there was only one type of pickaxe, and we were fine with that.
If you told someone that RS might open up a P2P section, you'd get a laugh, because Runescape was always known as being pretty much the only good MMORPG that people didnt have to pay for. Anyways, I played as an addict for a while.cough.Tom.cough.
but since then, I've been off and on. I cant tell you how weird it was to switch from the original Runescape (which people now call 'RS Classic'.sigh.) to the 3D version of Runescape.
I remember trying to pick up the environment sprites over and over again.I still do if I'm not paying attention, even though I'm fully aware they cant be picked up and dont make a red dot on the minimap. So yeah, that's me. Back when I played, a lot of people chose to separate between those in the champion's guild, and those who weren't. And practically no one believed in being an all-around character.
Runescape World Map
Kudos to Tom for being one. So I was the abnormal one, the one who insisted on leveling up cooking when everyone else was fighting in the wilderness. Anything that's happened to you on the game, it's happened to me at one point. I was been lured into a couple of scams as a newbie.
I've been killed in level 2 of the wilderness, the one time i decide to bring a few hundred of different runes, a few nature and a few law, and some nice armor, in case i decided to fight. But I never dreamed I'd die in level 2. Note that this was before the restriction that makes a character be of a certain strength or defense to wear great armor or wield the better weapons. So I've been through it all, and anything you have to ask, you can ask me. I'm just introducing myself to the blog.
Ciao for now. Some people do a search for cheats on how to level up quickly in RuneScape. I have figured a good way (in F2P anyway) to level up quickly without cheating. You must have two things though.
Level 40 fishing and cooking, and should be at least level 50. Here's how I do it: I go to Karamja and fish lobbies and then go into the volcano and fight lessers.
Working attack is key to leveling up. The better your attack, the more often you hit.
So there you have it. More later on the lessers area in the volcano.
No. not from Fally to Fally or Varrock to Varrock. nothing like that. I doesn't even involve using Law Runes. 'How does it work?' Here's the secret. It involves the build mode. That's all I'm saying for now.
Happy 'Scaping! I'm still looking for writers! I don't care if you just started or have been around since RS Classic. Members and Non-Members alike are welcome! Old and young! Personally I'd like all perspectives! In case you haven't noticed.
I haven't written in a while. I will be posting from time to time (such as my current stats and so forth.) But I need someone that will write at least once a week if not twice.
This person can keep in contact via email to determine the subjects and so forth. I will judge who becomes the newest writer by the comments left below. Please tell me why you want to write here and how often you plan on writing and some other information.
I will NOT post the comments. I will determine the writer in two weeks from today (September 6th 2006). I'm about to loose my internet and decided it's time to move some of my stuff that I'd been hanging on to for quite a while. I smelted all my iron and coal to make steel bars, and cooked all my lobsters and went to world 1 to start selling. It was a pain in the butt trying to type that in over and over again.
I decided that I'd find an auto talker for you ladies and gentlemen out there. Unlike the autofighter, the auto talker is nice. You can type a list of different things.
You can edit what you've typed, but you can't edit the effects after you've entered it into the program. For example you can type 'selling 1k lobbies 200 ea' and then you have a radio button (a round selection button) where you can choose your color (white, glow1, etc.) and then you have a radio button to choose the effects (wave, slide, scroll, etc.). You can also set it to send the message every 5 seconds, 10 seconds 18 seconds. Whatever you choose. When I went to world 1 I had the oppertunity to use it. I used it with my main too.
And everything went great. I sold all my lobsters, my rune essence, and my steel bars. I'm up to 1.8 mil now. I may be giving it away soon. Because of lack of internet. Not sure yet. I was trying to see if I could get a Santa, but the prices are way to outta reach for me right now.
Hope to post soon! If you've ever tried to send someone a private message (PM) in RuneScape and they aren't shown as logged in, chances are, they have their Private Chat turned off or set to friends. I recently set my private chat set to friends.
For awhile I had people saying that I won a free membership, or whatever to get my password. One guy even admitted it too. So, since then, I've turned my private chat to 'Friends'. I had a hard time when merchanting in world 1.
I had such a hard time trading. When trading items such as nats, laws, lobbys, or whatever your little heart desires. You can buy or sell them at world 1. The hardest thing about world 1 is the fact that people are constantly stating what they're selling or buying, and there are so many people there merchanting as well.
How do you click on the trade offer when everything is going so darned fast? I have found that turning the public chat to hide works wonders. It allows you to see what others are merchanting, and at the same time, you can see only action items such as the trade offer from another player. You can also set the public chat to friends only and see those in your friends list. So I noticed the others were posting their current stats and figured I might as well post mine too.
Runescape 4
Such a follower, huh? Anyway, I just took this screenshot this morning so it is very current.
Looking at our stats and the hiscores I think it is really funny sometimes how that all works. Take the hiscores for instance, except for some notable disruptions, for most of the time I have been playing (about 4 months) Zezima has held the top spot in the hiscores. Now I read the interview with him on one of the sites and he sounds like a really nice guy who works hard for that achievement, so I mean no disrespect when I say what I am about to say. But out of curiousity one day I looked at more than just the overall hiscores, to look at the hiscores for each skill (you can do this by clicking on skill name in the hiscore menu). Anyway, interestingly enough Zezima is not first on any of the individual skills! I thought that was really strange at first how you could be first overall but not first in anything specific.
As I thought about it more though it began to make a little more sense (and I think someone commented about this on one of the previous posts). You can train a really high combat level (or any other skill) or even have a 'pure' character which would get you closer to the top spot in THAT skill, but to be first overall you really have to train everything.
So you may not be 'the best' on any particular skill but because you train them all, you end up with the overall hiscore spot. Way to go Zezima! Its much harder than it might sound, believe me! Tom and I talked about this once and the fact that nonmembers can only ever attain a certain level.
So a nonmember would never have the number 1 spot, it is just not possible. For example, right now on overall hiscores I outrank Tom, but look at our stats. He owns me on practically everything!
Now notice the areas that he has 1's in? Those are all the member skills, ones that he can't train but I can. That is how I outrank him overall. Interesting huh? I'm not sure if I have worked out exactly how I feel about all of that, but I do know that it makes me think a little bit more about levels and 'status' in runescape! Next time, I promise I will talk more about being a member. This actually leads very well into that whole area, because some of the most overwhelming things when you first become a member is all the new skills to train and quests to do.
Some of the quests require some of the new skills. And remember what its like in the beginning and you seem to level all the time? Its kind of exciting and it keeps you working for more. Then after awhile it seems like forever between levels. New skills come in handy then, keeps boredom from setting in. And there is always a new quest to do for members. Runescape releases new quests and even mini-games every month so there is always something new to do!
Then there was the recently released new skill of construction. But that is definitely its own post! Hope I have left you wanting a little more and until next time happy scaping!
